Within your role, you’ll actively establish, maintain and strengthen internal and external relationships and identify and escalate potential business opportunities for Ernst & Young on existing engagements. With a clear focus on anticipating and identifying risks, you’ll escalate issues as appropriate. Working closely with colleagues, you’ll determine whether the work plan is properly executed, documented and concluded in compliance with our Quality & Risk Management guidelines. As an influential member of the team, you’ll help to create a positive learning culture and will coach and counsel junior team members and help them to develop.
Technical skills requirements
* You’ll have knowledge and experience of a number of the following areas: * Understanding of effective governance, processes and controls * Experience of risk assessment, mitigation and remediation * Knowledge of business process, operational process and process analysis * Experience of: internal audit, Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Audit of the Institute of Internal Auditors, COSO Framework for IA and ERM, data analytics, computer assisted audit techniques (CAATs), continuous control monitoring (CCM), financial statements, internal controls, financial reporting, fraud and IFRS
Additional skills requirements
* Track record with a blue chip consulting firm and/or any big four audit firm (At least 3 years) * Post qualification experience (At least 2 years) * Professional qualification (CIA, ACA, CPA, CMA or MBA) * Strong academic record including a degree * Bilingual Arabic/English * Adequate presentation skills
Client responsibilities
* Participate in BRS engagements * Work effectively as a team member sharing responsibility, providing support, maintaining communication, and updating senior team members on progress * Assist in preparing presentations, reports and schedules that will be delivered to clients and other parties. * Develop and maintain productive working relationships with client personnel * Build strong internal relationships within Advisory and across other services * Provides and demonstrates value to clients. Commits to meeting clients expectations.
People responsibilities
* Conduct performance reviews and contribute to performance feedback for staff * Contribute to people initiatives, including recruiting and retaining BRS professionals * Maintain an educational program to continually develop personal skills * Understand and follow workplace policies and procedures * Ability to communicate effectively with others * Manage effective time utilization of team members
