Our client, a leading Investment Bank, is seeking a strong Java Web Developer to join their Sales Technology - CRM / Metrics team.

This is an outstanding opportunity to join an elite organisation renowned for the quality of their people and reputation for results.

Key responsibilities include:

• Working closely with various technology teams located locally or globally and participate extensively in integrating new components and contents into the systems.
• Developing and maintaining the systems as part of the global team with a focus on supporting the Asia users.
• Partner with the sales traders to understand and define user requirements. The candidate will gain/apply financial products knowledge and experience.

The ideal candidate will possess:

• 5+ years of Java development experience, especially on web-based system development, including multithreading, synchronization, collections, and Java design idioms
• Solid understanding of C#, web services based framework, writing and tuning SQL and stored procedures
• Good understanding of OOD, SOA
• In-depth knowledge of HTML, JavaScript and CSS, JSP, knowledge of AJAX is preferable
• Strong understanding in relational databases (Sybase / DB2 / Oracle / etc)
• Strong financial knowledge and understand of securities trading and process, relevant experience in the industry is a plus
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills
