Description: A challenging internship in the middle of the financial world, in the trading room of Société Générale in Paris. A unique opportunity for a student with affinity for financial markets to become acquainted with one of the biggest players in the market for structured products.
• Working for the Benelux Cross Assets Solution team • Location: Paris, Duration: 3-11 months, 5 days per week, paid
Main Responsibilities: • Assisting dedicated sales in their service towards Dutch clients. • Market intelligence: follow the market and the competitors activity • Helping to increase the client database (ie: cold calling, specialized website, magazine) • Production of marketing materials for the structured products sales team (ie: back testing, term sheets and pitches) Education and past experience: • Academic excellence is a prerequisite (Degree in Business Studies, Finance, Economics, Econometrics)
Candidate Profile: • Fluent English and Dutch • A basic knowledge of vanilla/structured derivatives and their risks.
Skills: • Excellent Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, Powerpoint) • Bloomberg is an advantage • Analytical ability, organizational and communicative skills, interpersonal skills, accuracy and attention to detail • Highly motivated, demonstrated personal and academic achievement. • Must be able to cope in a fast-paced and demanding environment
